Earlier today, it was reported that the NHL will bring back the Taxi Squad and other measures to expand rosters to deal with the COVID outbreak. The new changes will be in place at least during the NHL All-Star break.
The Blackhawks and Blue Jackets game was one of three added to the growing list of postponed games this season. In addition to Tuesday night’s game, the NHL also postponed Tuesday night’s game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as Wednesday night’s game between the Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators. It’s now four games for the Blackhawks to postpone to December, all four being home games.
