The Township of Tiny is pleased to announce that a Shared Library Agreement for Tiny residents has been established. The agreement will allow residents of Tiny to use the services of the following libraries; Midland Public Library, Penetanguishene Public Library, and Springwater Public Library.
A Tiny resident will enroll in one library at a time. The first library they visit will be their personal library. Residents will be advised that they can attend the second or third library at no additional cost as long as the resident’s membership is in good standing with their home library.
In order to obtain a free library membership, the resident must come to the library with a valid government-issued photo ID that clearly shows their home address. The resident’s home address must be in the canton of Tiny. Residents must have a valid subscription to their home library before obtaining a subscription to the second or third library.
Other library services may be available in addition to borrowing privileges and certain fees may apply. Residents should inquire with each individual library about the services available to visiting library users.
Lending library policies regarding loan periods, renewal and recall procedures, and fines will apply to all loans. Lost or damaged materials should be reported to the library from which the item was borrowed. Residents are responsible for paying any fines, lost book fees, or handling fees incurred.
